Stable Housing Accountability Program

During the 2023-2024 regular legislative session, the Georgia General Assembly passed HB 1410 creating the Stable Housing Accountability Program (SHAP) and making available $850,000 in additional funding for stable housing accountability programs throughout the state. Effective January 1, 2025, the State of Georgia will begin disbursing the funding to qualified sponsors of stable housing accountability programs through the State Housing Trust Fund Commission for the Homeless consistent with a Notice of Funding Availability announcement. Applications must be submitted by the deadline to be eligible for consideration for this funding.
