This historic context identifies and evaluates publicly funded schools in Georgia [and it does not address private academies or colleges]. The historic context is written in the form of a multiple property nomination that provides registration requirements for potential National Register nominations and determinations of eligibility for Section 106 compliance. Future National Register nominations for individual schools will need to include information specific to the school being nominated.
