About Georgia Agribusiness and Rural Jobs Act

Senate Bill 133, known as the “Georgia Agribusiness and Rural Jobs Act” (GARJA), was approved by the Georgia General Assembly during the 2017 legislative session, and subsequently signed into law by Governor Nathan Deal. 

The GARJA program provides for the establishment of rural funds which will raise capital to be made available to Georgia small businesses in exchange for receipt of tax credits which can be utilized by affiliates and allocatees.
