2023-2024 Hurricanes Combined Notice

To: All interested Agencies, Groups and Individuals

The purpose of this announcement is to provide a combined public notice as it relates to the tiered environmental review process for the 2023-2024 Hurricanes CDBG-DR allocation.  These notices satisfy the three separate but related procedural requirements for activities to be undertaken by DCA. This includes the Final Notice and Public Explanation of a Proposed Activity in a Federal Flood Risk Management Standard (FFRMS) Designated Floodplain, Notice of Intent to Request a Release of Funds (NOI-RROF), and Notice of Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) .

Any individual, group, or agency may submit written comments on the Environmental Review Record (ERR) to GA DCA. Comments may also be submitted via email at [email protected]. All comments received by 10/9/2025 will be considered by GA DCA prior to authorizing submission of a request for release of funds. Comments should specify which Notice they are addressing.

This announcement notice also includes broad-level tiered environmental review determinations and compliance findings for HUD-assisted projects under 24 CFR Part 58.
