Georgia Serves, in accordance with AmeriCorps, gives notice of funding opportunity for institutions of higher education, local governments, school districts, nonprofit and faith-based organizations in Georgia to apply for AmeriCorps members to strengthen communities through service.

Available Funds
Georgia Serves and AmeriCorps expect a highly competitive AmeriCorps grant cycle. Given limited funding, Georgia Serves may prioritize funding existing grantees instead of making new awards. The actual level of funding depends on annual appropriations.
Application Information
Applications must be submitted electronically through AmeriCorps’s online grant application system, eGrants.

Application Timeline
- Applications and additional documents are due no later than Friday, February 27, 2026, by 3:00 p.m. EST.
- Successful applicants will be notified by early June 2026.
- Successful applicants will be issued awards by late August 2026.
