Georgia Rehoused: Notice of Acceptance of Pre-Applications for Round Three of Funding
DCA’s State Housing Trust Fund for the Homeless Commission today launched the third round of Georgia Rehoused funding. Georgia Rehoused is a new, streamlined process for communities to apply for funding opportunities by demonstrating how their proposals will reduce unsheltered homelessness. Georgia Rehoused uses a single pre-application to determine eligibility for various available state and federal funding. The pre-application process enables DCA to support and advise communities on their compliance with basic eligibility requirements and their readiness to proceed with a final application. The Georgia Rehoused pre-application process helps DCA gauge need and determine timing and award limitations for finite funding.
Pre-applicants will receive a recommendation from DCA staff either to make a full application or to do additional work to meet basic eligibility requirements. After projects receive a pre-application determination, communities may be able to apply in a competitive funding round.
