Request for Proposals: Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS Project Based Rental Assistance
The Georgia Housing Finance Authority, as the recipient of State’s Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) allocation, today announced the HOPWA Project-Based Rental Assistance (PBRA) pilot program. The Georgia Department of Community Affairs (DCA) invites eligible Low-Income Housing Tax Credit Properties to apply for the program. The awarded properties will work with a HOPWA Project sponsor in one of the eligible counties to provide units dedicated to HOPWA clients.
HOPWA Project Sponsors:
- Dalton-Whitfield Community Development Corporation
- Eligible Counties: Floyd County and Whitfield County
- Union Mission
- Eligible Counties: Chatham County, Bryan County, Effingham County
