Applications Now Open for FFY2026 Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA)
The Georgia Department of Community Affairs (DCA) today announced that the application for the 2026 Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) Program is now open.
The HOPWA program provides housing and supportive services for persons living with HIV/AIDS, as defined by the Office of HIV Housing, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
Applications are due on Monday, May 11, 2026, at 11:00 p.m., and can be accessed at the application submission portal.
DCA will host two Q&A webinars to assist applicants during the application process. All local government entities and non-profit organizations applying for HOPWA funding are strongly encouraged to attend at least one session.
