The purpose of this announcement is to provide a combined public notice as it relates to the tiered environmental review process for the tornadoes in Spalding County. These notices satisfy the three separate but related procedural requirements for activities to be undertaken by DCA. This includes the
Final
Notice and Public Explanation of a Proposed Activity in a Federal Flood Risk Management Standard (FFRMS) Designated Floodplain, Notice of Intent to Request a Release of Funds (NOI-RROF), and Notice of Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI)

Any individual, group, or agency may submit written comments on the Environmental Review Record (ERR) to GA DCA. Comments may also be submitted via email at [email protected]. All comments received by 10/6/2025 will be considered by GA DCA prior to authorizing submission of a request for release of funds. Comments should specify which Notice they are addressing.
This announcement notice also includes broad-level tiered environmental review determinations and compliance findings for HUD-assisted projects under 24 CFR Part 58.
