Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) FFY 2026 Award Notification

This memorandum details FFY 2026 awards under Housing Opportunity for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) Program. The broad purpose of these programs is to deliver housing support and related services to “eligible persons” (low-income persons living with HIV/AIDS) as defined for the HOPWA program. 

The HOPWA program received 15 applications requesting a total of more than $11.4 million in funding. Thirteen of these agencies are being awarded funding for the total amount more than $7.5 million. Funding for the HOPWA program comes from HOPWA federal funds awarded to DCA. A summary of the funding awards is as follows:
