FFY25 Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) Application Workshop Announcement
The 2025 application process for the Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) is opening soon! The HOPWA program provides housing or service resources with the goal of stable housing outcomes for eligible persons, as defined by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
The HOPWA application process will open on Monday, April 7, 2025, and all applications, supporting materials, and organizational documentation will be due on Friday, May 9, 2025, at Noon.

DCA will offer two (2) in-person HOPWA Application workshops that will cover the program, the application process, and the application timeline. Please click the link below to register for the location of your choice. These workshops are scheduled for:
- Wednesday, March 19, 2025*
- 9:00 am – 10:00 am
- Hyatt Regency Savannah (Housing Symposium), 2 West Bay Street, Savannah, GA 31401
*This session is only open to registrants of the DCA 2025 Housing Symposium in Savannah, GA.
- Thursday, March 27, 2025
- 10:30 am – 12:30 pm
- North Central Health District (The HOPE Center), 3920 Arkwright Road, Suite 415 Macon, GA 31210
All applicants are strongly encouraged to attend one of the in-person workshops listed above to learn about changes that have been made to the HOPWA program 2025 applications.
