Before his current position, he worked as a manager for Duke Energy in Lake Mary, Florida, where he handled distribution rights of way for integrated vegetation management. He currently serves as vice chairman and finance committee chair of the Brunswick-Glynn County Joint Water and Sewer Commission, of which he has been a member since 2018. He earned his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Southern Tech, a division of Georgia Tech. He lives in St. Simons with his wife Bonnie, and together they have an adult son.
