Dr. Troy received a BA in Art Education at Western Washington University; a MA in Art History at the University of Washington; and a PhD in Art History at Emory University. She teaches a variety of art history courses and developed the historic preservation course that focuses on Berry’s historic campus. Her publications include Anni Albers and Ancient American Textiles: from Bauhaus to Black Mountain; The Modernist Textile: Europe and America 1890-1940; and Dynamic Design: Jay Hambidge, Mary Hambidge, and the Founding of the Hambidge Center for Creative Arts and Sciences.
