Georgia Balance of State CoC - At Large Board Member Nominations
In the Governance Charter for the Georgia Balance of State CoC, which was approved as updated by the Balance of State CoC, the make-up of Balance of State CoC board membership was established. The board will be comprised of twenty-one people: fifteen appointed by various state departments, local governments, or interests related to homelessness among Veterans; one homeless/formerly homeless representative appointed by the Membership and Rules Committee; and five selected by a community process and appointed by the Governance Board to represent the five DCA “Super Regions”.
On April 8, 2026, the “At Large” Seat for Super Region 3 was determined vacant. The Membership and Rules Committee is calling for nominations to fill a vacancy for the “Super Region” Seat 3 on the Balance of State CoC Board for the current “At-Large” term that ends on January 21, 2028. Following their candidate review, the Membership and Rules Committee will finalize the recommended “At-Large” Super Region 3 nomination that will then be sent out for membership vote. basic packet of information as well as a fillable nomination form is posted below.
